Milon's Secret Castle

$8.99

gm0271 - Developed by Hudson Soft Company, Ltd. and Published by Hudson Soft USA, Inc., "Milon's Secret Castle" was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in September of 1988. This is a 3rd-person perspective Platformer action adventure game. The scenario is that you play this game as Milon from the Kingdom of Hudson, and your Queen named Eliza has been kidnapped by an evil Wizard who has taken over her castle and hidden the musical instruments the Queen's subjects use to communicate throughout the realm. Your mission is to search the castle, find and recover all of the hidden instruments, and rescue Queen Eliza. You are armed with a gun that shoots bubbles to thwart the wizard's minions throughout the castle. This is a large castle to explore, and there are items and money that are hidden within it. You must make your way through the rooms of the castle to find these secrets because they help you progress through the game. To make matters worse, every room of the castle has breakable walls that will appear no different than any other wall, and so thoroughness and patience is your greatest ally. There are puzzles, but they are just a small part of the game, there are the Wizard's minions at every corner who will attempt to stop you from your mission. The only way for you to keep progressing is to find keys, and they can reveal themselves in any number of ways depending on the room. Milon's Secret Castle is a platformer that blends Mario styled action with puzzle-solving and exploration. I like the old Nintendo NES games because I grew up playing them and most still to this day are entertaining and fun for the whole family. This game is average, nothing really special, but part of a childhood memory. In Japan, the Millon's Secret Castle game is known as Meikyu Kumikyoku: Milon no Daiboken. Pre-owned - Includes Game Only, no manual or instructions are included. Milon's Secret Castle game review by "The Prince" NES Gamer.
