The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

N64GM031 - Developed and published by Nintendo of America Inc., "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" was released for the Nintendo 64 game system on November 23, 1998. It follows faithfully in the footsteps of the previous magical Zelda series games, and the result is a near perfect Nintendo 64 experience. Almost universally hailed as an Instant Classic, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time lives up to the hype. While the scenario is familiar, the game itself is unique, with fresh ideas and that engrossing Zelda atmosphere. it is a free roaming 3D adventure that will keep you interested to the end. The storyline is that Link's old nemesis Ganon is up to his old tricks, and its up to you to save the day. So collect your sword and shield and begin your adventure. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has plenty of subtasks and minigames that mirror the main quest experience, and new things like time travel, bombs and other gadgets. The time device is called the Ocarina, and it will be essential for the quest. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has a time feature that plays an important role, as there is a day/night clock, and darkness can bring with it many hidden dangers. The graphics in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time are simply stunning, with breathtaking cinematics views and sharp environments. The gameplay and control are top of the line, as our hero Link moves gracefully and controlling him is simple. The music is appropriate and fits the zelda series style. And the sound effects are perfect. For example, walking in different type shoes or on different surfaces makes different sounds for your footsteps. I have one phrase for this game, "Quality masterpiece!" Its easily one of the best games ever, everything you want in a game, and the ideal for players of all ages. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is alternatively known in gaming circles as Zelda64 or Zelda 64, Ura Zelda, Master Quest and TLoZOoT or TLoZ: OoT.
