This is a 3rd-Person Perspective realistic motorcycle racing racing game, an updated version of the classic NES game Excitebike. You'll love that the super jumps and precision timing that was required in the original NES version has been updated for this new 3D version that features vivid sharp high-resolution graphics. It also features six different riders, three progressive bike classes, a 20 racing track season mode and 17 track tutorials. As you gain your skills and win more races, you unlock even more tracks. After you complete them all, what awaits you are special tracks that will give you even greater challenges. A track announcer named Limua will shout out the tricks you do as you get better at them, and this makes the whole racing experience more realistic. Show off your riding and trick skills (there are over 30 stunt tricks such as nac-nac or the heel clicker) as you lay the pedal to the medal. And for you gamers who like to customize, there is a very good editor both for the track and the rider. Build your own tracks and save them. The graphics and 3D visual effects are so cool (especially with the ram extension pack) that you feel as if you need a bath with the mud flying around you. The sound is good and the gameplay awesome, with the physics of the game feeling pretty realistic. You can choose from a exhibition mode which allows you and up to 3 other people to choose a single track to race on. A time trial mode where you can attempt to race the best times on the 20 tracks. And a season mode that allows you to choose from multiple skill levels. Gotta love the six outdoor courses and six indoor stunt tracks. This game is highly replayable. And here's a little secret, the original NES version of Excite Bike is actually hidden inside Excitebike 64. And if you remember the challenge and fun of creating your own tracks on the original excitebike and then racing on them, Excitebike 64 is twice the fun with its 3D effect.
