It is great how you can use the sacrifice, and also use pinch hitters. The players statistics are very close to their real-life counterparts, who can be indentified by their numbers. There are three modes you can play in. You can play a regular season game, you can opt to play an All-Star Game where you select your own All-Stars, or you can play a World Series game. for my money, there's not a better baseball game for the NES, and none that allows you to be able to win against the computer with home runs. The gameplay is the standard behind-the-catcher viewpoint for pitching and batting, changing to different views after the ball is hit.
