Need for Speed Underground

$13.99

GCG0049 - Developed by Electronic Arts Black Box and published by Electronic Arts, Inc., "Need for Speed Underground" was released on November 17, 2003. Heavily influenced by the movie "The fast and the Furious," the need for speed franchise goes underground. This is the very first street racing game. Underground is the illegal nighttime street racing of the heavily modified import (lighter) cars. In this regard, "Need for Speed: Underground" is EA's venture into the illegal import racing craze, and it is a success. This is the seventh game in the long running Need For Speed racing series, and underground raises the bar. No more boring simple car racing games, this game sets a new standard. There are over 100 single player races. With a sick Hardrock/Urban soundtrack featuring such heavyweights as Rob Zombie, The Crystal Method, Nate Dogg, Lil' Jon and the Eastside Boys, Petey Pablo and Mystikal, the sound is always bumpin'. And needless to say, the graphics in Need for Speed Underground are so cool you'll probably need a coat. Especially with the wet tracks and city lights. On top of this there are plenty of licensed cars to choose from, including the Mazda RX-7, Nissan Skyline GT-R, Honda Civic, Acura Integra, Toyota Supra, S2000, Dodge Neon, etc.. You race in a fictional city by night, compete in drifting (power sliding) competitions and drag-race. The great part about all this is that you actually get the chance to trick out your race car almost from the ground up. And with tons of real licensed parts and performance accessories. Even upgrades for great visual effects such as cool Neons, body kits, spoilers and replacement hoods. There is an fun and enjoyable Story Mode and very cool items to unlock. But we all know that a great racing game is only as good as the game's controls, handling and physics model. And "Need For Speed Underground" does an excellent job in this regard. Street racing fans will definitely love the great car customization system, and intense Multi-Player style. And all fans of racing in general should check out Need for Speed Underground. This game is also commonly known as "NFSU1." Live your life a quarter-mile at a time with this outstanding action racer. Pre-owned. Includes case, disk and instruction manual - Plays on Gamecube or Wii - Rarity Rating C
