Original Super Nintendo SNES Power Fuse

$6.99

SNSPT010 - These are original Super Nintendo Entertainment System 1.5 amp picofuses. If You have a SNES power failure, this is likely to be the culprit. The soc 1.5a picofuse protects the SNES power components from high voltage surges. If your SNES power light doesn't come on at all (and your AC adapter is fine), then chances are that you've blown the SNES s.o.c. 1.5a internal fuse. This often happens when an improper AC adapter is used, a static spark, soldering, or from pulling the SNES games out (or putting them in) without turning off power. If you are sure your AC adapter is not the culprit, try a continuity check of the fuse with a multimeter to make sure this is the problem. If you know how to solder, this fuse is easily replaced with this original equipment SNES fuse. NEVER use improper amperage fuses or a piece of wire to replace the 1.5 SNES fuse, as it is Not Safe and at the very least can damage your SNES motherboard beyond repair. Spend the little extra to buy a genuine 1.5 amp original SNES picofuse. The SNES 1.5 amp picofuse requires soldering. NOTE: Before replacing a SNES fuse, you "MUST" switch the system on after you have unplugged it to discharge the voltage in the system. failure to do this may result in frying your motherboard.
