#gm0096 - Developed by Taito Corporation and published by Nintendo, Elevator action was released in 1985. It is a port of the Arcade Game classic. As super-sleuth Agent 17, code name "Otto", your country's security is at stake and it's up to you to save the day. Your mission is a covert operation to steal top secret government documents from their location in a enemy building. They reside in the rooms with red doors. Be careful that you get them all because if you try to leave without collecting all the documents you will be thwarted and will have to go back and retrieve any remaining documents. If you take too long collecting these documents, you will be noticed and an alarm will go off. When that happens you will have problems with slow responding elevators, and enemy agents will be more aggressive toward you. It will only reset when you finish the building so try not to set off the alarm. The building is a heavily guarded, 30-floor top-security site with enemy agents located throughout. To successfully complete your mission requires you to use the elevators and escalators wisely, dodge bullets (you cannot duck when in an elevator), Jump-kick the agents, use your gun accurately, and have a good exit strategy. You can also crush enemies with the elevator or shoot ceiling lights and make them fall on them. But remember, if you shoot out the lights, enemy agents are harder to see. You can also jump over elevator gaps so long as the Elevator cable is not in the way. You must then make your way to the basement with all the documents to escape in your getaway car. You can then proceed to the next secret building. Elevator Action has a style of play that is incredibly unique. This is a game that you must try out, and if you like it, get it! It is a classic and fun NES game. Although the music is a little repetitive, it more than makes up for it in play-ability. Pre-owned - Includes Game Only, no manual or instructions are included.
