A bonafide classic and one of the very best Baseball games ever made. It was the first Baseball game with a wide variety of custom selections, and first with the create a player" feature. There are 8 computer generated teams, but there are comprehensive options for you, such as setting up and customizing your own league, naming and managing your own teams, and selecting your own colors and logos. Create your teams as offensive or defensive minded, depending upon your particular vision of a great team. And partly because of all this ability to customize, the replay value is infinite. You can even keep complete stats on all players in your league. Or change their stats by paying them more money that you've earned by winning games. There is even an option to make the team co-ed by adding women. Of course, all Baseball games are played in the SNK stadium. The gameplay in Baseball Stars is excellent. They've kept it simple and yet it remains interesting play after play. For those of you who have never played this classic NES game "Baseball Stars," you are missing out on one of the best Baseball games ever, and I'll stack it up even with those made today.
