The scenario revolves around a place called Toontown where cartoons exist and live. It is here that a judge named Doom who wants to take over Toontown. But Jessica Rabbit (wife of Roger) had been photographed playing patty-cake with him, so he has to find some way to destroy the couple and their friends to cement the will of one Marvin Acme, that would give Judge Doom ownership of Toontown. So He has framed Roger rabbit for the murder of Marvin Acme. Roger hires a private detective named Eddie Valliant in order to clear his name and keep him out of jail. Most of the NES game "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" takes place on side-scrolling city street, caverns and rooms. But you must also transgress a top-view world map that lets you move through the four different sections of Los Angeles (The City, The Park, ToonTown and the Warehouse District). In this mode you will go to other areas by walking or hailing a Benny Cab. Your mission is to take down the evil Judge Doom, and you need help in the form of collecting supplies like bricks, crowbars, flashlights and TNT. You will need to search through Hollywood, the Wilderness and Toontown in order to collect the pieces to Marvin's original will. Interview everyone you meet and search carefully throughout this world as there are many useful items to be found. But beware, Judge Doom has enlisted a band of weasels to try and stop you. You must collect the right weapons, accessories and facts that will enable you to defeat Judge Doom in the final confrontation. The sound is good and the music is very intoxicating.
