The Uncanny X-Men

#gm0055 - Released in 1988 and developed and published by LJN Toys, Ltd., the Comic book hero's favorite characters, the Uncanny X-Men, finally make their way to NESNintendo Entertainment System! The evil mutant Magneto has devised the world's deadliest computer virus. Professor Xavier and the XMen are all that stand in the way of his rampage. Thus he sets out to destroy the Uncanny X-Men. You may choose from four different missions. The X Men stay pretty much true to the comic characters. This includes the power-ups, like the "S" which will stop time, and a magnet that will renders your character immobile. You choose any two X-Men from among Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Colossus, Iceman, and Nightcrawler to attempt to stop Magneto. In each stage you must reach and destroy the secret command center. Cyclops, Storm and Iceman posess long range weapons for attack. Wolverine, Colossus and Nightcrawler can only attack short range as they must get up close and personal and physically attack them with their hands. If you get killed, you can try again using two of the remaining X-men to beat the level. After all your X-men are killed, you cannot continue and must start over.
