ThunderCade

#gm0072 - Released in July of 1989 and developed and published by "American Sammy Corporation," ThunderCade is a little known action shooter game that is actually pretty darn good. It is a challenge as you ride your high performance futuristic attack chopper through the defenses of terrorists with nuclear capabilities. You shoot at these terrorists and collect power-ups that will make your shot a scattergun, multiply killing power to several of the terrorists at once. Another nice touch to this game is that when the going gets very difficult for you, you can call in air support to help you out. The graphics for this game are middle of the road, but it's more than made up for by the outstanding gameplay. You can play alone or play with a friend, and you can even take his life if you like. This is a fun game and one which you should try, if you can find it.
