The Incredible Hulk

$18.99

sgm0111 - Developed by Probe Entertainment Ltd. and Published by U.S. Gold Ltd., "The Incredible Hulk" was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) on August 1st of 1994. This 3rd-Person Perspective, Platform, Side-Scrolling action game in which you play as Dr. Bruce Banner. The game scenario is much as the comic and movie. The good doctor was accidentally exposed to gamma radiation of a Gamma Bomb, received when rescuing a student. This does of Radiation makes his anger transform him into the Incredible Hulk. The game has three levels of difficulty and this helps extend re-play value of the game. Be advised that only by beating the most difficult level will you be able to see the true iconic ending. To play, you take control of Bruce Banner as he battles a variety of his Comic book nemeses such as "The Leader" and his forces (Rhino, Absorbing Man, Mutants, Abomination and Tyrannus) through five levels of Super Hero action. The levels include "City and Construction Site," "Tyrannus' Labyrinth," "Leader's Fortress," "Leader's Interior," and "the Final Confrontation." In your adventures, there are two ways to play this game. You can play either as Dr. Bruce Banner or as the Incredible Hulk. As Bruce you can shoot a weapon (if you have one), you can crouch down, you can crawl and being smaller you can go places that the incredible Hulk cannot go. On the other side of the coin, as the incredible Hulk you are fierce, which is much more useful in fighting with multiple enemies and perilous situations. In order to transform into the incredible Hulk, you need to get Bruce Banner angry. The graphics are nothing to write home about, but I must say that this game makes the Hulk look like the action figure we read of in the comics. All in all, you would have thought that with a built in audience like the incredible Hulk has, that the producers and developer's would have constructed a more entertaining video game. This game is average at best, which is probably why it's rare (not a lot of copies made). Pre-owned - Includes Game Only, no manual or instructions are included. Rarity Rating "B".
