#sgm0062 - Developed by Tengen and Published by Mindscape, Inc., "Paperboy 2" was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in November of 1991. This is an exciting enjoyable snes game, a port of the arcade classic, that takes it to another level in puzzles, difficulty and intricacies. You play as a bicycle riding boy (or girl) with paper routes, and the object is to make it without getting fired from your job for a week. You must deliver your papers while avoiding obstacles in your path on the sidewalk and road. These obstacles will include just about anything, cars, rolling wheels, dogs, whatever the game can throw at you. Each route you ride will be slightly different from the others, including different levels of challenges and obstacles. Make sure you deliver the papers to the right house, because points are awarded for successful newspaper deliveries. Breaking house windows will lose you points, while tossing the newspapers directly into the mailbox gains you extra points. In this upgrade, the Paperboy can ride in three directions, throw papers to the right or left, and jump high into the air. Running into people or over them can be very humorous, as I love a game with a sense of humor. And all the different things you can discover by going back and playing the different neighborhoods make game replay-ability triple A. The controls are simple, the graphics what you would expect, and the sound is average. And when you have finished your paper route, roll on over to the stunt and BMX tracks for bonus points. Paperboy 2 is a fun and very challenging game for the mischief gamer, and if you are a fan of the original game, this snes sequel will not disappoint. Paperboy 2 is also known as "Paper Boy 2," "Paper Boy II" and "Paperboy II". Pre-owned - Includes Game Only - Rarity Rating C - UPC: 050047110101 - Paperboy 2 Review by "NES Gamer".
