Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge

$9.99

SGM0040 - Developed by Software Creations Ltd. and Published by LJN, Ltd., "Spider Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge" was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in November of 1992. In this side-scrolling comic-book hero inspired game, SpiderMan and members of the X-Men have teamed up to do battle against the evil Arcade. Arcade constructed a warped amusement park so that he can kidnap and destroy super-heroes. You begin Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade's Revenge playing as Spider-Man in the New York City level. You witness the kidnapping of the X-men by the devious Arcade and follow through this level. When you complete this first level, you can choose to play as Spider-Man, Cyclops, Storm, Gambit, or Wolverine. Each of the X-men are held captive in a different part of Arcade's dastardly maze levels in Arcade's Murderworld. You must successfully traverse and complete Cyclops, Gambit, Wolverine and Storm levels in Arcade's Murderworld to lead them out. Storm's levels are underwater levels. Wolverine's levels have a circus theme. Gambit's levels take place in caves. And the Cyclops' levels are both in a mine and also in the Master Mold's Final stage. Use the character's diverse skills and abilities to conquer the enemies and bosses. If you complete those levels, you will take control of Spider Man in the ultimate battle with Arcade himself. The graphics in Spiderman are nothing special, but the soundtrack is simply astounding, having been composed and arranged by Tim and Geoff Follin. Spider-Man and the X-Men in Arcade's Revenge is one of the first games to present Spider-Man in an easy to control environment. It is also a very difficult game, so if you are looking for a good challenge, this is the game to get. Pre-owned - Includes Game Only - ESRB Rating N/A - Rarity Rating C - Review by NES Gamer
