Nolan Ryan's Baseball

#sgm0101 - Developed by Affect Co.,Ltd and Published by Romstar Incorporated, "Nolan Ryan's Baseball" was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in February of 1992. This is an underrated 3rd-Person Perspective baseball game allowing you to play baseball with one of the game's greatest legends. It features both the options to play a single game or to play in a pennant race mode. There is the option for either 1 or 2 players. If you select the pennant mode, this features two leagues and 12 different teams all vying to make it to the final championship series. The game features an option to choose between 10,30, 60, or 130 game pennant race and keeps track of game and player statistics. Nolan Ryan's Baseball allows you to choose teams, manager, create players, select positions, and pick the lineup. Then you can edit player attributes to adjust hitting skills, pitching skills, throwing prowess, running ability and stamina levels. When you are in pitching mode, you can choose to throw fast balls, change-ups, or curve balls to keep the hitters off balance. The baseball dynamics are good and it is cool being able to move a ball around and throw a 90 mph curve ball. You are permitted to sign free agents or look to make a trade with another player. The graphics of this game are great, and the sound and effects adequate for the style. The game features a battery back up that will save your place in the long season of baseball, so jump in and see if you can hit Nolan Ryan's 100 mph fastball. In Japan the Nolan Ryans base ball game is known as "Super Stadium."
