This is a 3rd-Person Perspective 3D fighting game based on the TV series Xena: Warrior Princess. It follows the theme of the TV show series very accurately concerning the environments, characters, effects and overall style. The game scenario is that when it is decided that a contest be held between good and evil to determine the destiny of the world, Xena and her friends join forces to take on the dark powers that seek to rule the earth. The characters of this game will be familiar to fans of the TV series, but there is one new boss character. Each character will have their own unique level where the fighting takes place in different arenas. You can play this game as either Xena, Lao Ma, Velasca, Gabrielle, the Roman Emperor Caesar, Joxer, Autolycus, Ephiny, the goddess Callisto, the god Ares or the mighty Despair. Xena features various game modes including story, versus, training and roster. The graphics are very clean and smooth, with the character models and stages are well designed. The fighting levels are well done and they change with the various large 3d environments you'll recognize from the TV series. The game controls are very easy to pick up and understand, with each character possessing their own special weapons (Xena's chakram, Gabrielle's staff and Callisto's sword), moves, strengths and weaknesses and unique styles. The audio is also nicely done and features very nice background music for each character stage. This unique fighting system is not traditional or standard and the outstanding and fun multiplayer mode allows four players may battle it out instead of two. This is a great party game and makes it stand out from the field. Multi-player can be either in a free for all or pair up in teams. Xena Warrior Princess: The Talisman of Fate game will strongly appeal to any fan of the show, and the great animations that are so true to the TV series makes Xena Warrior Princess: The Talisman of Fate a fighter classic.
