Chopper Attack

$10.99

n64gm004 - Developed by SETA Corporation and published by Midway Home Entertainment, Inc., "Chopper Attack" was released on June 17, 1998 for the Nintendo 64 game system. This is a 3rd-Person Perspective action helicopter game that is fun, fast and exhilarating. The scenario is that a terrorist group known as Guren-no-kiba has stolen weapons, taken American scientists hostage, and has plans to create an unstoppable android super soldier. Your elite special-forces Chopper Attack team has been called in to eliminate this threat. The game follows the basic tried and true formula of piloting your attack chopper, avoid getting destroyed, heroically rescue the scientist hostages, and of course, blow stuff up! It is a formula that never fails. You start off with a briefing from your XO, and you are off to neutralize planes, tanks, other helicopters or enemy buildings. Your mission requires that you to do a specific task, but destroying enemy targets along the way results in bonuses and cash. And you need the cash to buy extras like more heavy-duty missiles between the missions. You must purchase your ammunition at the beginning of each of the stages, so it is wise to try to earn more cash so you can buy a lot more weapons. You choose to pilot one of eight different attack choppers. They each have their own strengths and weaknesses, so choose wisely. Some Chopper have more ammunition capabilities, better bombs, extra armor, have more speed, have much better handling or countermeasures. There are several difficulty modes to Chopper Attack, including training, normal and expert. In the expert mode, Chopper Attack features a secret weapon along with an extra difficult stage. The sound effects like explosions, engines and enemy fire is simply fantastic sounding. All in all Chopper Attack is a really cool and exciting game. It is also known as Wild Choppers in some gaming circles. Rumble pack and memory card supported. Pre-owned. Includes game cartridge only. Rarity Rating C
