n64gm074 - Developed by High Voltage Software, Inc. and Published by Midway Games, Inc., "Paperboy" was released for the Nintendo 64 (N64) Entertainment System on October 31, 1999. The much loved arcade classic Paperboy returns to Nintendo with a new 3D look, but the same fun objectives. The game scenario is that you play as a young paperboy, and your job is to ride your bicycle and deliver all your Daily Sun newspapers to a list of subscribers. The quicker you deliver the most amount of papers, the more new subscribers you will receive. And you must do this riding your bike while avoiding crazy monkeys, disgruntled neighbors, blood thirsty vampires and swirling tornadoes. For each street you must sign a set number of subscribers in order to move onto the next, and more challenging level. There are also more varied, open environments like trailer parks and castles. Paperboy also includes handy speed and jump control buttons for you to master. So carefully send the precious papers flying to your customers' waiting doorsteps. The Paper boy game provides extra points for catching air or doing some sick bike tricks. But be careful, because each street has objects that will get in your way, like fire hydrants, pedestrians or dogs. There are also bonus objectives and power-ups, like extra time and health, or collecting three coins by knocking down people. There are also bonus levels where you can win extra subscribers. Deliver enough papers and you can unlock deceitful and underhanded bosses such as Killa Gorilla or Dr. Tesla. You'll need to collect as many helpful power-ups you can, like extra time and health, to two-wheel it to victory. Seaside communities, campgrounds, trailer parks, and suburban neighborhoods all wait to challenge your riding and delivering skills in Paperboy 64.
