The Nintendo 64 (N64) is Nintendo's third home video game console, and is a 64-bit processor, in that it has 64-bit registers, a 64-bit instruction set, and 64-bit internal data paths. It provides 64-bit graphics and genuine CD-quality sound. This system is the successor to the SNES 16-bit architecture.
