gcg090 - Developed by Pseudo Interactive, Inc. and Published by Electronic Arts, Inc., "Cel Damage" is a rare game that was released for the Nintendo GameCube System (GCN) on January 10, 2002. Cel Damage brings classic car combat to the GameCube with a new look and feel. Gameplay involves a variety of simple "destroy or be destroyed" missions, but unlike the popular Twisted Metal or Carmageddon series, Cel Damage is presented with an aspect of surreal zaniness that refuses to be taken too seriously. The game's title comes from its "cel shaded" graphics, which appear similar to those used in conventional television and film animation. Players choose one of six different vehicles and driver characters, each presented in a distinctively cartoon-like style reminiscent of the Dreamcast's Jet Grind Radio. Vehicles can be upgraded with a combination of three-dozen different weapons and battles take place in a variety of deformable cartoon arenas. Pre-owned - Excellent condition, includes Case, Game, Instruction Manual and insert.
