The Simpsons: Hit & Run

$99.99

GCG0219 - Rare Black label - Developed by Radical Entertainment Inc. and published by Fox Interactive, Vivendi Universal Games, Inc., "The Simpsons: Hit & Run" was released on September 16, 2003. And to everyone's surprise, it has finally brought to life a great console version of the classic simpsons show. This awesome game is a lot like the Grand Theft Auto series, and finally brings the world of the Simpsons to video gaming in the way it should have been all along. You take on the role of Bart, Homer, Marge, Lisa or Apu and try to uncover the mystery surrounding robotical bees and mind controlling Cola in Springfield. The game has seven levels, each with seven primary missions (fifty plus missions). As you progress through the game, you unlock rewards by completing missions in a set amount of time or performing stunts. The individual levels are assigned to one specific character in the game. Bart and Homer get two levels, while Marge, Lisa and Apu get one. Many nice challenges await you in the familiar environments of the town of Springfield. A nice touch is that all the voiceovers are performed by the original actors of the show, including Dan Castellaneta (Homer), Julie Kavner (Marge) and Yeardley Smith (Lisa). And on top of the great voice casting, is the well designed landscape and humorous script. This keeps the true "Simpsons" feel to the game. This game is as convoluted as the show, as you'll have to chase cars and find out where they're headed, get the cola cans before people can drink them, and of course, put a hurt'n on those villains before they get away. The sound is great, the graphics are stunning, and the visuals are incredibly beautiful. The game supports multiplayer action for up to four players. All in all this game is very addictive and "just plain Fun. You'll be begging for more! If you enjoy a crazy driving game, the Simpsons TV show, or those wide open free roaming games that let you explore vast areas, then The Simpsons: Hit and Run game is definitely for you. Plays on Gamecube or Wii. Pre-owned - Includes Case, Game, Instruction Manual and insert. The Simpsons: Hit and Run game review by "The Prince" NES Gamer.
