Resident Evil: Code: Veronica X

#gcg0030 - Developed by Capcom Co., Ltd. and Published by Capcom Entertainment, Inc., "Resident Evil: Code: Veronica X" was released for the Gamecube Nintendo System (GCN) on December 3, 2003. Very difficult to find an excellent copy for the Gamecube, Resident Evil: Code: Veronica X is a rare 1st-3rd Person Perspective Puzzle-Solving survival shooter game for mature adults with one of the best story lines of any in the RE series. When I first bought this game I was pleasantly surprised at how much of a challenge and how fun it was to play. It surprised me mainly because some critics had bashed it, but I don't really know what game they were playing, because honestly this is in my opinion second only to Resident Evil 4 as my favorite in the Resident Evil series. Maybe they are just getting tired of the series, or just don't like ports. This is a post, almost the same game as the original BioHazard: Code: Veronica for Dreamcast, except it has new cut-scenes that were not included in the original Dreamcast version. You play this game in control of Claire Redfield (originally seen in Resident Evil 2) and her brother Chris Redfield, who are searching for each other. The gameplay is in the style of the older Resident Evil 1 and 2 games, but that takes nothing away from the enjoyment, visuals or play. Unlike the older versions, the angle is not static and the camera actually pans around as your character moves. The sound is outstanding, as I really found no problems and thoroughly enjoyed every sound and creak that I heard. Code Veronica is also the first Resident Evil that allowed you to have double guns and experimented with use of the sniper rifle. The bottom line is that this game is surprisingly good, has a great story line with outstanding antiheros. I highly recommend this game to any fan of the Resident Evil series. So get your weapon and solve the mystery while uncovering the secrets behind the villainous Umbrella Corporation. In Japan Resident Evil: Code: Veronica X is known as "Biohazard: Code: Veronica Complete" Pre-owned in excellent condition. Rated M for Mature. UPC: 013388200092 - Includes case, disk and instruction manual - Plays on Gamecube or Wii - Rarity Rating B+
