As you progress in the game, you span time and memorial (Modern-day Rhode Island, Ancient Rome, Persia, and the Middle East) within the body of 12 different characters. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's mass for the dead also has a very unique feature incorporated, called Sanity. If you are spotted by your foe, your sanity level will go down you lose touch with reality and you may hear voices and view things in a distorted manner. That is why it is imperative to learn to perform the special move, Finisher, which returns your sanity to you. Likewise, this game also features a very unique magic system that forces you to create combinations to conjure up diverse spells such as bind and restore. You will have a stamina meter and a health meter to keep an eye on, and you can gain access to several good weapons, including vintage weapons like swords, or modern weapons such as shotguns and pistols. The up close and personal combat feature has a nice targeting system, which will permit you to zone in on specific body parts of your enemies.
