#gcg0236 - Developed by Pivotal Games Ltd. and Published by Gotham Games, "Conflict: Desert Storm" was released for the Nintendo Gamecube System (GCN) on April 22, 2003. This is a 3rd-Person Perspective historical action war game shooter that lets you take charge of the best special forces squad in the world to help in the military action against Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait. You have the option to control either the US Delta Force, or the elite British SAS. Set in 1991 during the first gulf war, it is loosely based upon actual missions. You command this four man squad consisting of team leader Bradley, explosives and anti-tank expert Jones, a heavy weapons man named Conners and Foley, the elite sniper. As you might expect, each of your men have their own unique skills, but the great part is that these skills can be built up by killing enemy soldiers. Conflict: Desert Storm features 15 missions, and scripted events. And the more experience your men get, the more their skills are upgraded. Your missions have specific objectives such as destroying key equipment, personnel or strategic sites in Iraq, and you have control over your men individually. You can send them orders to stay behind, move forward, attack or retreat. Conflict: Desert Storm also features a four player co-op mode where each player controls a soldier. So get in there and cause havoc and confusion in the enemy lines of communication and supply. Accomplish your mission and you will receive a medal for your bravery--even the Medal of Honor. Conflict: Desert Storm is also known in some gaming circles as CDS or C.D.S. - Pre-owned, includes all art work, instruction manual, disk and case. - ESRB Rating "T" for Teen - Rarity Rating for New B - UPC: 710425241826 - Conflict: Desert Storm Review by "NES Gamer".
