Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones

GCG0068 - Developed and published by Ubisoft and released on December 9, 2005, "Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones" is the underrated conclusion to the Sands of Time trilogy. This highly acclaimed and awaited sequel doesn't disappoint. The storyline is that after many dangerous adventures, the Prince finally makes his way to Babylon, from the Island of Time with his new bride Kaileena (from the alternate ending of Warrior Within). However, all their hope for a happy future together are dashed when they find the city under siege of war against it's enemies. The invaders pounce upon them, capture Kaileena, who is subsequently murdered by the evil Vizier. Her death looses the Sands of Time, and from this the Vizier possesses a new terrifying power that threatens the world. Therein lies the storyline and scenario as once again the Prince of Persia must battle to regain his kingdom and avenge Kaileena's death. This game has excellent tight controls and satisfying environmental puzzle sequences that are set in gorgeous levels. The truth is, the awesome control scheme of this series has served as a model for so many other games that feature acrobatic characters. While similar to the previous installments (The Sands of Time and Warrior Within), there are also some great new innovations, such as the ability "Speed Kill," and the possession of the main protagonist from time to time by his alter ego, the dark Prince, who offers him new combos and moves. This is good news/bad news, as it also means the Prince must also battle with his own inner demons as the Dark Prince threatens to consume him. In "Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones" you will explore the streets of the great city Babylon, and also the ruined palace of your father, the Holy temple and the famous Hanging Gardens. The graphics are simply Beautiful, with environments focused on diverse themes, and the sound and gameplay stellar. The Two Thrones marks a phenomenal ending to an outstanding trilogy that can be found on most top ten gamecube games lists. It is also known as Prince of Persia 3, POP: TTT, POP: The Two Thrones and POP: T2T. Pre-owned. Rated T. Includes case, disk and instruction manual - Plays on Gamecube or Wii - Rarity Rating C
