Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

$14.99

GCG0157 - Developed and published by Konami Entertainment, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" was released on October 21, 2003. This gamecube game is based upon the anime styled FOX cartoon of the same name. You can play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is story mode or in versus mode. The scenario is that Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello, the green turtle-like ninjas, have the task of cleaning up the streets and turtle-izing the town. The cool thing is that each of the turtles features his own unique moves, sound bytes and fighting style, and you can choose which one you will play the game as. Raphael uses Sais, Leonardo uses a Kai, Donatello a bo staff, and Michaelangelo nunchakus. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live underground in the sewers, and move in the shadows to fight for truth, justice and another slice of pizza. This is the classic beat-'em-up. So if you loved the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade games, then you will definitely like this version.

You are faced by a range of opponents, from street punks and mechanical robots to tough "boss" characters that are a challenge to defeat. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles primary fight is against evil inventor Baxter Stockman, and the more shadowy Shredder and his Foot Clan. This game in many ways encourages you to play as a team, because together you can defeat most enemies without losing much health in the process. At the end of each level is a boss which you have to defeat.

From a graphics and sound point of view, this game is very impressive, and aesthetically there are some slick levels like the rooftop or subway stages. The graphics are cel-shaded (like Zelda: Wind Waker) and they are awesome. No one can complain about the liquid smooth look of the game. Though this game is primarily aimed at kids, anyone can get enjoyment from playing. You can play alone or in multiple player mode. It's fun playing by yourself, but even better with a friend. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is commonly abbreviated as TMNT. Pre-owned. Includes case, disk and instruction manual - Plays on Gamecube or Wii - This game is Rated E for everyone, with mild violence. Rarity Rating C
