This is a TV cartoon inspired, top-down platformer game that is very enjoyable for kids, although gameplay does get difficult at times making it also very challenging. The scenario is that Otto, Reggie, Twister and Sam from Rocket Power, are going on vacation one summer at Ocean shoes beach. But upon arrival they discover that all the sand has mysteriously just disappeared. This inevitably will cause the big surf contest to be cancelled. The crew is shocked at the sands disappearance, and cannot have the contest canceled, and so they set out to solve the mystery of who stole it, and to get the sand back. It's your job to assist them in their quest, by combing Ocean Shores to get answers. You need to find out about any of the places where the sand possibly could have been taken. In this regard you will have to be vigilant to interview all the residents of Ocean Shores that you can for clues. The game features nearly all the characters from the TV show, and can be a lot of fun. There are nice options such as riding either rollerblades or your skateboard, and doing tricks grinding rails in order to collect items like smoke bombs. As for weapons, you can use your hockey stick to fight the dastardly robots and destroy the many robot panels. "Rocket Power Beach Bandits" is a fairly long game, so get comfortable and enjoy the fun and challenge. There are lots of puzzles to solve and most of these are fairly easy. Pre-owned.
