Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

GCG0172 - Developed and published by Electronic Arts, Inc. and released on November 8, 2005, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" is the fifth in the Harry Potter games series for gamecube, and is a big improvement over Azkaban. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is definitely a worthwhile platforming action adventure for hardcore Potter fans, which follows the story of the movie of the same name. The scenario is that the Triwizard Tournament is held at Hogwarts, and strangely enough, Harry Potter is somehow included in the tournament. Harry, Ron, and Hermione face more challenges and pitfalls as you guide the trio of young wizards through this game. Played from a third-person perspective, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire can be enjoyed by one to three players. You play at various locations, and must solve challenging puzzles and battle magical creatures. Sometimes all three characters must work together in order to complete tasks (like defeating strong enemies or moving huge objects). As you make your way through the levels of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, you collect Bertie Bott's Every-Flavor Beans. These help by restoring stamina or magic powers, and serve as currency that you use to buy cards to power up each character. You will need to complete three tasks in the Triwizard Tournament and face Lord Voldemort. In addition, spells can be learned as you make your way through the levels of the game. Graphically, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is awesome, excelling the most in its environment. This gamecube game is aimed at kids and the younger crowd of Potter fans, but it does a great job of delivering an good experience for Potter fans of all ages, and is in line with the plot of the books. Another great part of this game worth mentioning is the 3 player cooperation. There are so few truly multiplayer games for gamecube that this adds so much to the experience of playing Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Also known as "Harry Potter 4," this is a game worth buying and adding to your collection. Pre-owned - Includes case, disk and instruction manual - Plays on Gamecube or Wii - Rarity Rating F
