The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer

$15.99

GCG0200 - Developed by Heavy Iron Studios and published by THQ, Inc., "The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer" was released on November 1, 2005, and is the sequel to The Incredibles which was released exactly one year prior. And this game picks up where The Incredibles left off, and is a lot better than anyone ever expected. The mole man known as The Underminer has risen up from the ground, and he and his army of evil robot minions are threatening the stability of the world. They want to destroy the surface of the earth and drive it's inhabitants underground. And this game delivers on almost every level with great action, nice multi-player mode, sharp gameplay and a wonderful story line. What more can you ask for in a game? The graphics are crisp and smooth, the heroes and bad guys all well-designed, and their animation outstanding. And if it could get any better, the sound in this game rivals that of the original Incredibles movie. You can play as both Mr. Incredible and his trusty crime fighting pal Frozone to attempt to defeat the Underminer and his crew. If you play alone, the AI console can play one of the characters. If you play with a friend he controls the other character. Indeed, part of the fun of The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer is determining which super hero is best suited to tackle any particular enemy. Mr. Incredible uses pure force, melee power moves and strength to navigate the levels, while Frozone is faster and also uses his freezing powers to defeat enemies. In certain instances, which you pick will determine if you survive. The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer is a nice follow-up gamecube offering to the original action game starring Disney and Pixar's animated family of super heroes. It's an exciting action game based on a beloved animated children's film, but will assuredly be enjoyed by more than a few kid-at-heart grown-ups as well. In fact, The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer has a great story that will appeal to anyone who enjoyed the movie. It could have been a little longer, but you can't have everything I guess. Pre-owned in top condition. Rated T for Teen. Includes case, disk and instruction manual - Plays on Gamecube or Wii - Rarity Rating B
