You will usually need this part if one or more of your Nintendo Gamecube controller ports have stopped working or are intermittent. The controller port will oftern become damaged if a player yanks on the controller cord, if you are using a bad 3rd party controller, or if you are not careful when plugging and unplugging a controller into the port. This OEM controller port assembly includes the control port module, the connecting mainframe circuitboard cable, and the power light assembly (see picture). Preowned.
