They are specifically made for the N64 console model RVL-002. They take your 117-120 house current and turn it into 12 volt DC that the Wii console requires. You insert it into the back of the Nintendo Wii and connect to your 117 volt power outlet. As an added safety feature for your Nintendo Wii system, the Wii AC Adapter box has a built-in circuit breaker.
