sgm0147 - Did you ever wonder what it would be like if someone built a dragon quest game into Nobunaga's Ambition's Japan? No, oh well, someone made that game anyway and here it is. You are this lonely ninja that starts off having to level grind fighting rats and bugs (I have always hated games that make you do this and I'm looking at you, Square) so that people will want to join your party. Then you have go to various dungeons all over Japan and train to learn spells and skills. Enemy ninja's at your level will learn 10 levels before you, and use them against you as they stalk and harrass you throughout the whole game.

Fight system: Its pretty generic attack/magic/item dungeon crawl stuff. You can move around or even fire projectiles. Kinda cool, but ultimately you just trade blows with your enemy that is several times larger than you. If one of your guys falls but you escape battle, sometimes they become "Injured". This causes you to have reduced combat effecacy, in a addition, Injured guys who get beat again have a chance of perminately dying (along with everything they are holding).

Battlefield combat and spy missions: Being a ninja, you do ninja work in between training. This allows you to earn money, gain the trust of rival Daimyos that may help you fight Nobunaga, or just be a big serial arsonist. The battles are kind of wonkey and difficult to understand but you get the gist of it after a while. Just bring a ninja or wizard along with you when you go to war.

Character and recruitment: This is where game shines. You have like 80+ ingame characters who will be trying to join your group, hunting you or just taking up space. This is where the game gets fun. You will want to attack and kill certain people on site, while trying to recruit certain swordsman with the highest power stats. Some characters will have skills that allow you to refine items or even fly. Get Tenkai if you want to take ninja jobs and zip around Japan for free. Harutomo if you want a wizard guy or Gou Ikuma if you want a strong sword arm to carry your Kusinagi. This game is also known in some circles as "Inindo: The Way of the Ninja." Inindo game review by Chief Slapahoon (November 27, 2012). Pre-owned - Includes game only, no manual or instructions are included.
